Our story
Born Out of Necessity.
In 2005, a group of real estate clients came to us with a problem: they needed a reliable back-office solution, and one was hard to find. Scott Gardner and his father, Rob, recognized the need and established Nevada Management Services to meet it, with a simple aim: careful, timely, and trustworthy support that lets clients operate efficiently and with complete confidence.
That first group of clients shaped everything that followed. We learned to manage property-level books, keep multiple entities reconciled, and deliver owner reporting that was ready when it was needed. Word spread, and over the years our work expanded well beyond real estate to family offices, professional services firms, startups, and multi-entity owners.
What has not changed is the standard. Over more than 21 years, we have maintained 100% client retention.* That is the measure of our work we are proudest of.

Scott Gardner began his career at American Express, working in its Travelers Cheque, Accounting, and Risk Management departments, where he learned the discipline of precise records and careful controls. He founded Nevada Management Services in 2005 with his father, Rob, and has led the firm as its sole owner since 2014. The standard Scott and Rob set together in 2005 still guides every engagement.
Scott is also a financial advisor and a real estate broker. That broader financial perspective helps us see how the numbers we keep fit into a client’s larger goals, and it brings an unusual level of rigor to everyday bookkeeping and back-office work.
We take on new clients deliberately. When we accept an engagement, it is because we are confident we can serve that business well for the long term, and we aim to keep those relationships for years.
